Conveniently, the Visitors Information Center and the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce are both located on the ground floor of our Winslow Corner building. Help yourself to the many maps and brochures offering ideas to enhance your stay, or speak with a friendly local volunteer for special advice and tips for a great island and county experience. "Island Time" means time for relaxing and enjoying the many aspects of beautiful Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Bainbridge Island: Just steps from the Inn at Winslow Corner are many wonderful restaurants, great shops, galleries, theaters, the beautiful Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park, hiking trails, and the ferry for sightseeing and shopping trips to the city of Seattle. Quiet drives, bike rides, and walks around the island highlight the incredible natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy a woodland hike, stroll along the waterfront, or explore the shops in Winslow. Rent a boat or kayak and explore the beauty of Puget Sound. Lounge on the beach at Faye Bainbridge State Park or Fort Ward State Park. Garden lovers will enjoy the beautiful and world famous Bloedel Reserve.

Surrounding Counties: Fill your day with distinct and diverse activities. Visit the Clearwater Casino and or the Suquamish Tribe Museum in the town of Suquamish a short drive north on Highway 305 just beyond the Agate Pass Bridge off Bainbridge Island. The quaint Norwegian Village and waterfront park in Poulsbo is also enjoyable with many unique shops and restaurants. The treasure of the Olympic Peninsula includes the world famous Olympic National Park, the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, lavender fields of Sequim, the town of Port Angeles and the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; all are just a few of the wonderful destinations that beckon less than an hour or two from the island.

Seattle: Walk or drive onto the Seattle ferry and enjoy this magnificent city along with great restaurants, a revitalized waterfront, many museums, the Seattle Aquarium, the Space Needle and Seattle Center, Pioneer Square, Safeco Field, and the wonderful Pike Place Market. Spend some time enjoying the many great shops, go to the Symphony or Opera House, or enjoy one or more of the many theaters which are all only a 35 minutes ferry ride away. You can leave your vehicle on the island parked at the Inn at Winslow Corner if you like. A short walk on the Seattle side from the ferry dock and you can easily reach most attractions. Taxis line up at the terminal if you prefer a ride, or use the wonderful public trolley, monorail, and bus service that are also available.
